Damien is around 6 foot, and weighs about 160 pounds, though it's practically all muscle. Even so, he's not bulky in the least, though he is defined. He's very lean, though not skinny either. Basically, he's in very good shape. His hair is a light faded black, almost a dark gray, as his eyes are. They resemble a storm in a sense.
He has lightly tanned skin, though is more white than anything. He has a tattoo of a bone dragon on his upper left arm, and one of a raven on his back right shoulder. Both cover scars, the first from a cut, the second from a burn. He also has a scar straight across his back from right shoulder to left hip. His right ear is pierced with a silver ring in the top, though this is his only piercing. He commonly prefers darker clothing.
Personality: Damien has two sides to him: The friendly, crazy, uncontrollably happy one, and the angry, destructive, incredibly temperamental one.
Quite simply, Damien is literally ADHD. He likes to be constantly moving around and up to something. Movement is his friend. Even when standing in one spot, he tends to be bouncing up and down on his toes, or whilst sitting, bouncing one leg continuously until it's practically vibrating. He absolutely can't tolerate boredom, and always wants something to be doing rather than standing around.
Unfortunately, this makes him very impatient. He likes to be answered quickly, get what he wants quickly, and for other people to move quickly. He wants everything done fast, and in order. He seems sometimes to have a little bit of OCD, always lining things up, or organizing things, when really it's just because he needs something to do. He always needs something to do.
Damien is very sneaky, in the sense that he seems to pop up out of nowhere sometimes. He also tends to switch which side of you he's walking on, and such, leaving you to look to where he had been, and not where he was now. That sort of thing. Though, he is not sneaky in the lying sense. He doesn't like to lie, nor does he like to cheat.
He also seems to constantly be in high spirits, with a smile on his face. Half the time he's practically bouncing when he walks, and other times he hums as he goes. He's constantly full of energy, which is odd because he never sits still, yet he always seems to be ready to go at any and every opportunity to do something. There's never a dull moment around him, partially because he says what he thinks and does what he wants, for consequences just don't seem to make any sense to him. He never plans things out, because the fun part is seeing how they end up. Plans are no fun.
Basically, he comes across as very carefree. Insult him, and quite clearly he doesn't care. He has very selective hearing sometimes, or at least it seems that way, until he explodes in your face.
Which brings us to the other side of his personality, which was diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder.
Get things just right, and you'll find yourself with an incredibly destructive, furious, dangerous demon. When Damien looses his temper, he completely looses control. He becomes incredibly impulsive now no longer in the sense that he says and does what he wants without thinking about the consequences, but he says and does what he wants without giving a damn about the consequences, and without the slightest bit of remorse. He could kill someone, and literally care less afterward.
He likes to destroy things, and hurt people when he's angry. He has no self-control to any point whatsoever. His fits of rage can last from a couple of minutes, to a half hour or so, at which point afterward, he returns to his normal, bubbly self. However, if provoked when calming down, things tend to stretch on for a far longer time destruction-wise, which is why it's best to just get away from him when he's angry, let him destroy what he wants to, and allow him to calm down before approaching. Otherwise, you're liable to get hurt, or provoke him further.
The sometimes annoying, and tricky part about his temper however, is you can never really tell when it's about to happen. He explodes at the most random of times, appearing happy and relaxed one moment, and inexplicably furious the next. Sometimes the cause of his anger is apparent, other times it's not. The three most well known causes for his anger, and that are guaranteed to set him off is if he finds out he's been lied to, tricked, or cheated.
These occurrences are not exactly common however, so usually there's nothing to worry about.
Generally, Damien is a very happy person.
Abilities:
• Damien has a photographic memory, but in a literal sense. He looks at something, and takes a picture of it with his mind. No, there's no flash or any visual effects, but he quite literally files it away by date and time in his mind, and can pull it up without a second's hesitation later on, and recall every minute detail.
• This ties in with his second ability, which is to remember absolutely anything and everything he commits to memory. Names, numbers, facts, you name it. If he wants to remember it, he can, and he will. Just as easily however, if he no longer wants to remember it without question, he can make it just like the memory of a normal person, which he may or may not retain.
• Damien's last power is the ability to transform into a red panther, which is slightly larger than a normal one, and of whom can turn his body to diamond. He can only do so when in animal form however, and not in his normal human one. When his body is crystal, though he cannot bend the material as if it were water, he can shoot needles from his body, produce spikes and other such shapes, and other simple various things.
Crime: Theft, Arson, Drugs (Possession and Selling), Assault and Battery, Property Damage, Murder
History: During the first seven years of Damien's life, he didn't have a very good home environment. His family was always poor, and they were constantly in the need of money, just to sustain themselves through the night. He went without food often, as did his mother, for when there was something to eat, his father normally claimed it for himself.
Both of his parents drank, though unlike his father, his mother was not a temperamental drunk. She just became uncaring, and so didn't have much to do with Damien. Neither of his parents really did, but his father interacted with him far more than his mother, though not in a good way. For her though, it was uncommon that she even acknowledged him, least she needed something from him. Even then, she often took to calling out for it, rather than asking him to get it. During the 7th year of the male's life, the cancer that had sprung up in his mother's liver finally took her life, leaving him alone with his father.
He was always, and remains an only child. His parents never wanted children to begin with, and so quite simply, the demon was an accident produced by alcohol. He and his father never got along, not that his father got along with anyone. The man was constantly drinking, and didn't work, therefore spending the little money they had left on booze, and occasionally food, which Damien managed to sneak every once in a while. He stole things, mostly for himself, though his father sent him out to take things as well.
Damien's father constantly beat him. For no reason sometimes, it would seem, he would hit the male, or something of the sort. There wasn't much he could do to defend himself, really. His father was a demon too as well, and was also a rather huge fellow. He stood at 6'5", and was rather bulky, though not in an overweight way, but a muscular one.
He was around 15 the first time he actually hit his father back. Normally, he just took the abuse, because he couldn't do anything. Until, one day, he actually tried to fight back. It ended up in a worse beating than usual, and his father actually cut him deeply across the back, from one shoulder to the other hip, leaving a fine-lined scar in his wake.
His second noticeable scar, came from when the man had started to cut him on the arm, and he'd pulled it away, causing the blade to cut around his arm, leaving a scar that starts on his inner arm, and then curls over the top and back under.
The third large scar is a rather nasty burn, which came from when Damien had thought his father was not home, and so began to cook something to eat which he knew quite clearly was his father's, and not his. Varzen returned without his notice, and caught him off guard. He ended up pinning Damien back against the stove, and the flame burned the back of his right shoulder quite nicely.
At no point did Damien even really win against his father. He fought back, sure, but he always ended up the the loser. Varzen was too strong for him, and had no remorse. He didn't care about how badly he injured the boy, and so sometimes, wouldn't stop hitting him, even when it was clear he'd given up the fight. Often times, because he was aware of the male's fear, he'd choke him until he fell unconscious. If it weren't for his father, his fear of being held around the neck might not have been as prominant. But he'd used it constantly against the boy, increasing that fear (explained more below).
Varzen had always been a dangerous man, to everyone.
The fights occurred more often, and Damien would respond to them by not coming home for a couple of nights. He would stay out on the streets, sneak into a hotel room, or convince an old friend of his mother to let him spend the night.
Eventually, Damien ended up getting together with a couple of other guys, and they began to work together on thefts. This turned out to be the mistake that landed him in Sakuran in the first place.
They'd planned a heist on a very rich family of four; rich enough, that they had guards stationed at the entrance of their home, and throughout.
Things were going perfectly well, until something, which still remains known only to Damien, made things turn for the worst. The demon went into one of his rages, and killed one of his partners. The commotion brought about the attention of the guards, two of which he killed, and three of which he left in critical condition.
This occurred inside the house, so it was not difficult for Damien to find some kind of lighter, and the liquor cabinet. The house was in flames a few minutes later, during which time Damien destroyed half of their belongings by quite simply smashing everything.
His inability to calm down, and therefore see reason and the fact that he needed to get the hell out of there, was what kept him there even when the police arrived, and left him logically incapable of actually thinking of a way out of there. He was arrested, and charged with several crimes. His partner was later found, before the sentencing, and willingly gave up everything he knew about Damien, which was the cause of the drug charge, and testified to it all.
And so brings us to Sakuran.
Explanation of Phobias: Damien's small cottage was out at the edge of the forest, on the outskirts of the city they lived in. It was often that he would wander out there, against his mother's protests and warnings of wild animals, including mountain lions, wolves, and snakes.
He of course didn't heed her warnings, and went anyways. When he was five, he found himself face to face with a Boa Constrictor. He felt no danger from the snake, and actually attempt to pet it. Well of course that was stupid, and he wound up with the animal's body around his neck, and other parts of him, slowly squeezing the life out of him.
He was rescued by a man from the city, who had been out hunting, nearly in time to save his life. From then on though, he always had a fear of snakes, along with not being able to breathe, and just generally being touched around the neck. He tends to freeze for a moment when touched there, because from his experience, moving around had just made things worse.
Other: Damien basically runs the pit fights in Sakuran. He takes and keeps track of all of the bets, and is very fair about it all. He doesn't cheat or steal things from the inmates, and it is well known he doesn't tolerate it from anyone else either.

This was ridiculous.
Hiro was starting to wonder why he'd even come to breakfast that morning, considering he hadn't planned on eating in the first place. Rolling his amber eyes, he unfolded his hands, and placed them on the edge of the table, pushing himself up onto his feet. He lifted one leg over the bench, and then the other, removing his hands from the table as he did so. Breakfast was nearing an end in time anyways, and he was not going to sit there and watch the Doctor continue his little trek.
Tucking his hands shallowly into his pockets, he turned his back to the Doctor, and faced the exit of the cafeteria. If the man had a problem with him leaving, rather than witnessing his show of power, then he'd deal with it. But he was growing impatient with the tension in the room, and everyone's hushed and nervous reactions. It was somewhat frustrating to know a single man had so much power over so many people, and he was not interested in sitting there and being one of them.
He started toward the door, intent on going outside as soon as breakfast was over. It was nearing the end of the mealtime anyways, which meant people would be released to go either to work, outside, or back to their cells. Of course one could not just leave and wander the prison unattended, so he knew he would not be permitted leave from the cafeteria until it was time to go. He was simply uninterested in remaining a physical part of that atmosphere any longer, which was why he made his way to the outskirts.
As he came to the exit, which was of course guarded, he leaned back against the wall. He placed one foot up against it as well, but kept his hands in his pockets.
